Shirley E. Rome, 97, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton, Kan. She was born to Walter L. and Marguerite (Ryan) Whitcomb on Oct. 16, 1922, in Berwyn, Ill. Shirley married Leonard Bryan in the summer of 1947.

Samuel Allen Forman, formerly of Kingfisher, was born Sept. 18, 1988, and died Aug. 7, 2020. He was 31. Services are pending with Sanders Funeral Service of Kingfisher.

Henry Christian Oppel was born Sept. 25, 1927, at Omega to Frederick and Marie (Kunneman) Oppel and died Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at the age of 92. Henry was a resident of the Watonga community most of his life where he was a farmer/rancher.

Surrounded by her family, Joyce Sundermeier Andrews, 62, died peacefully in her home in Okarche on Aug. 7, 2020.

Dr. Joseph Anthony Voss Sr., resident of El Reno since 1969, died Aug. 8, 2020, at his home north of El Reno with his wife, children and grandchildren at his side. A prayer service was held Monday and Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday with the Rev. Lance Warren officiating.

Norman Dale Shutler passed away on Aug. 5, 2020. No three words better describe him than generous, selfless and playful. Norman, or “Dale” as his wife, Lalat, of almost 36 years called him, was a father to three kids, Alisha ‘Jewely,’ Ilea and Ian, who adored him. He was born Feb.

Arthur “Max” Castonguay was born April 19, 1939, to Arthur and Earnestine Castonguay in Kingfisher and passed away Aug. 2, 2020. Max attended Omega School and graduated in 1957. Following his graduation, he began farming from 1957-1989.

Services for Michael “Moe” Moore, 71, Enid, were Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Mark Hein officiating. Michael was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Kingfisher, to Donald “Dink” Moore and Peggy Beard Moore and passed away July 28, 2020, at his daughter’s house near Garber.

A memorial service for Max Castonguay will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, at Kingfisher Church of The Nazarene. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service-Kingfisher.

Jerome Anthony Maschino entered into eternal life July 30, 2020. Jerome was born Oct. 18, 1938, to Joseph A. and Mary E. (Kuestersteffen) Maschino in Sacred Heart. They moved to Okarche when he was young and there he lived, went to school and raised his family.
