Virginia Frances (Fite) Hellwege, 92, beloved longtime resident of Kingfisher, passed away peacefully on Oct. 22, 2025, at Great Plains Medical Center in Elk City.Virginia was born Aug. 1, 1933, at home on the family farm a mile south of Brinkman to Leo Francis and Iva Maude Ella Hood Fite.

Brenda Lavonne (Chaino Ahkeahbo Williams) Mechling was born March 18, 1957, in Kingfisher to Don Chaino Ahkeahbo and Averial (Rivers) Chaino.She passed away Sept. 28, 2025, at the age of 68.

Born in Dane, Okla., to Ralph “Shorty” Russell and Bertha Kile Russell, Anna Mae Steen passed peacefully at home on Oct. 16, 2025.Anna Mae grew up in Kingfisher, where she graduated from high school in 1949. She later moved to Bethany and attended business school.On Sept.

The beautifully-lived life of John Henry Hopkins, Jr., of Kingfisher came to an earthly end on Oct. 25, 2025.Born in a farm home near Cashion on July 16, 1932, he was the son of John Henry Hopkins, Sr., and Esther Viola Best Hopkins.
