Crescent native Roma Joyce Roberts, 73, of Orlando died March 27, 2020. Graveside services were held April 1 at Morris Heights Cemetery near Orlando. She was born July 28, 1946, in Crescent to Marcus and Lawanda Lucille Roten Dodson.

David Lee Sowards, 74, of Moore and formerly of Kingfisher, Cashion and Tulsa, died Friday, March 20, 2020, in Oklahoma City. David was born Aug. 2, 1945, in El Reno to Cleo L. and Nelva Sires Sowards. David attended school in Kingfisher and Cashion and graduated from the latter.

Geneva ‘Doris’ Hanners

Geneva Doris Hanners, 88, of Kingfisher, went to her Heavenly home on March 31, 2020. She was born April 14, 1931, in Campbell, Mo., to Ollie and Susy Cashion and was the youngest of eight children. She married Elbert Hanners on April 22, 1950.
