Clarence Lavern “Pete” Kirby was born Feb. 24, 1928, in Big Four and passed away Feb. 19, 2020, in Oklahoma City. He was 92. Graveside service is 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City under the direction of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary.

Kornelius Schellenberg, 66, of Omega, passed away on Feb. 14, 2020, surrounded by family and friends. Kornelius was born to parents Heinrich and Katherina Schellenberg in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, on Dec. 18, 1953. He grew up in Campo 26, Mexico, where he attended the local Mennonite school.

The memorial service for Larry Matthews, 65, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Dover Christian Church officiated by Rev. Fred Jones. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey. Viewing was Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation followed. Larry was born Jan.

Larry Ervan Yost, son of Ervan and Louise Yost, departed this life on Feb. 8, 2020, after a prolonged illness. Larry was born March 12, 1956, in Okarche. He was 63 years old when he passed away at Chapel Ridge Nursing Center in Fort Smith, Ark. Larry graduated from Lomega High School.

Steven “Steve” Grant Loper, 66, was born on April 7, 1953, in Wichita, Kan. He was the youngest child of father Sammie D. Loper and mother Letha J. (Britt) Loper Pierson. He passed away Feb. 5, 2020.

Nolan Reasnor, 27, of Sherman, Texas, and formerly of Cashion, passed away, Feb. 4, 2020. Come-and-go visitation for Nolan will be noon-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at the Crawford Family Funeral Home in Edmond. The family will be receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Carl Edward “Eddie” House passed away Feb. 3, 2020, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He died of complications following surgery on Jan. 27, 2020. Eddie was born June 19, 1950, in Enid to Maxine and Carl Ralph House.

Verba “Verbie” Jane Diedrich Vculek was born April 20, 1924, on a farm east of Marshall to William and Emma Diedrich and passed away Feb. 4, 2020, at Hennessey Care Center. She was 95. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary was Friday, Feb. 7, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hennessey.

Elsie Mozelle Hunter was born Oct. 1, 1927, in Wellston, a daughter of the late Frank and Cattie Hughes, and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, at Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon. She was 92.

Larry D. Price, 61, of Kingfisher, died peacefully at his home Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020. He was loved by so many family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the First Baptist Church in Kingfisher. Reverend Rickey Chaney will officiate.
