Carol Kerby

Carol James Kerby was born in Cushing on Jan. 24, 1935, to Ray and Florence Culp James and died Friday July 26, 2019, at Hennessey Care Center. She was 84. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m.

Otto Stover

Otto Bernhardt Stover, 97, passed away July 29, 2019, in Oklahoma City. He was born Oct. 5, 1921, to Henry and Kathrine Stover northwest of Piedmont.

Susan Smith

Susan Stetson Smith, 89, of Omega, passed from this life to a better one July 25, 2019, in Enid. A service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Grace Mennonite Church in Enid. Sue was born on April 17, 1930, to Lottie and Ezra Stetson in Kewanee, Ill. She was the youngest of six children.

Kelly Smith

Kelly Paul Smith, 73, died July 26, 2019, at Legend Assisted Living in Oklahoma City. Services were Tuesday, July 30, in the Benson Memorial Chapel in El Reno with Chaplain Miles Knutson officiating.   Burial was at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Hazel Wojtuck

Hazel Lorraine Wojtuck, 98, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Kingfisher. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville. Hazel retired from Phillips Petroleum Company in 1989.

Benjamin Hughes

Benjamin Warren Hughes, son of Mildred Dale Hughes and Orval Hughes, was born Dec. 31, 1933, in Aline. He passed away with family by his side on July 6, 2019, at the age 85 years. Ben graduated high school in Aline. After high school, he attended Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater.

Bill Parham

Staff Sgt. Bill Parham, 95, died peacefully in his Kingfisher home Friday, July 5, 2019. Bill was born Feb. 6, 1924, in Kingfisher to Harry and Sue (Burns) Parham. He attended Kingfisher High School, but was drafted in 1942 into World War II before he could complete his diploma.

Mable Eaton Meyer

Mable Ruth Eaton Meyer was born Jan. 12, 1933, to Mono and DeEtte Eaton. She went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2019, at the age of 86. Mable grew up in and graduated from Big Four School. After she graduated, Mable started working as a surgical tech at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
