Iris Dean Deurmyer (Davis), 71, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019. Iris was born in Edmond on April 13, 1948, to Gladys Davis. She grew up on the Christner family homestead farm near Cashion.

Bill Parham, 95, Kingfisher, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Kingfisher Cemetery.

Lonny James Patton, Sr., 61, Kingfisher, passed away at home Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 8, at Dover Cemetery, officiated by Gary Jones, Jr. Lonny was born Feb. 18, 1958, in Seagraves, Texas, to Emmett and Morene (Shirley) Patton.

Colleen V. Evans, 88 was born in Kingfisher on Aug. 30, 1930, to John and Deta Wickham and passed away Wednesday May 29, 2019. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey. Colleen was raised in Kingfisher and graduated from Kingfisher High School.

Velma Colleen Ray Case, 89, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon in her Ponca City home, attended by family members. Velma and her husband, Robert, were former longtime Kingfisher residents and she was a former columnist for the Kingfisher Times & Free Press.

Mike Abbott, 61, Cashion, died Thursday, June 20, 2019, in Gordonville, Texas. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Cashion Baptist Church with Wade Harelson and Pastor Greg Davis officiating. Mike was born June 16, 1958 to Everett and Norma Devers Abbott.

William Edward Sisk Jr., 71, of Kingfisher, passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on June 25, 2019. A celebration of life service will be held at First Baptist Church of Kingfisher at 2 p.m. Monday, July 1.

Lawrence Lee “Larry” Boyle was born Aug. 30, 1932, to Thomas and Esther Boyle in a farmhouse in Eddy, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of five children.   He died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his home, surrounded by love.

Helen (Corcorran) Gambrell, 96, the mother of Larry Gambrell of Kingfisher, died Monday, June 17, 2019, at Corn Heritage Village Nursing Home. She lived on the farm in Sentinel for many years with her husband George “Doc” Gambrell, who preceded her in death in 2008.
