On May 24, 1935, Shirley Ann Young was born to Walter and Alice Young of Kingfisher. Shirley lost her father when she was a baby but gained a loving, supportive additional father when her mother married Delbert Gerber 10 years later.

Rose Katherine Cook passed away June 2, 2019. Rose was born in El Reno on Jan. 21, 1943, to Cletus and Loretta Wittrock. She graduated high school in 1961 from Holy Trinity in Okarche and later married Carl on Christmas Eve 1969.

Kenneth “Kenny” Eugene Stoner of Okarche was born Dec. 25, 1980, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and departed this life Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at the age of 38. Kenny grew up in the Oklahoma City area. After graduating from Putnam City West High School, he attended Vatterott College.

Anne Katherine Wittrock Coffey passed away peacefully with her family at her side on June 4, 2019, after a sudden illness. Anne was born Jan. 5, 1938, to Paul and Kathrine Alig Wittrock and was the oldest of their five children.

James “Jim” or “Jimmy” Lee Floyd, 83, of Okarche, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the chapel of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.  Jim was born Oct.

The funeral for Ruby J. Johnson, 102, Hennessey, was Tuesday June 4, at First Christian Church officiated by Rev. Drew Kirtley. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Ruby was born Feb.

 Dorothy June Ketcham passed away May 20, 2019, in Central Point, Ore. Dorothy was the third of four daughters born in Kingfisher to Sam and June Pursell on Dec. 27, 1925.

Rebecca Elyzabeth (Baustert) McFadden was born April 24, 1984, to Robert “Bob” Baustert and Roberta (Newer) Leather-wood in Kingfisher. She gained her angel wings May 18, 2019, in Enid. Rebecca was a 2003 graduate of Okeene High School.

Leslie Allan Kamas, 73, passed away peacefully at Integris Baptist Hospital on May 25, 2019. The son of Lewis and Darlien Kamas, Les was born on March 26, 1946, at the Freedom Clinic and Hospital. He was baptized as a small child and attended the Freedom Christian Church.
