Sonya Elaine Graham Reagan, 80, of Okarche died peacefully Monday at her residence surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Kingfisher. She was born Aug. 16, 1938, at Walters to Seburn E.

Donald R. Black, 85, a longtime resident of Weatherford, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Cimarron Nursing Home in Kingfisher. Don was raised in Seminole and after high school graduation he attended Oklahoma A&M, where he pursued a degree in psychology.

John F. Pedigo

AREA DEATH John F. Pedigo of Wallis, Texas, died unexpectedly March 29, 2019. He was raised in Kingfisher all of his childhood.

James ‘Jim’ Maehs

Our brother, James Marion “Jim” Maehs died Tuesday April 2, 2019, at the Cimarron Nursing Center after a 25-year struggle with Parkinson’s disease. He had been a resident there for only two weeks. Prior to that, he had been treated in several hospitals for disease-related issues for five weeks.

Owen Lafferty

Owen Lafferty, 81, a principal in Wheeler Brothers Grain Co. and the father of Austin Lafferty of Kingfisher, died March 17, 2019, in Oklahoma City. A memorial service was held March 23 at Nichols Hills United Methodist Church. He was born July 20, 1937, in Tulsa to Albert and Rosalie Lafferty.

Steven Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Gilmore Smith. He was born June 25, 1955, and departed this world on March 22, 2019. Steve was preceded in death by his parents Sonny and Lorene Smith and his niece Shannon (Brill) Rziha.

Arlene Meier Kuntz

Arlene (Meier) Kuntz and her twin sister Darlene were born on a farm near Kingfisher on Dec. 22, 1930, to Walter C. and Elsie Meier. She died March 20, 2019, at the age of 88. Arlene graduated from Lacy High School and worked in Kingfisher at the ASCS office until she married Stanley Kuntz on Feb.

Glenda Boeckman Wolf

Services for Glenda Kaye Boeckman Wolf, 53, Kingfisher, are 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, at the Kingfisher High School APB. Glenda was born March 18, 1966, in Kingfisher to Glen and Connie Boeckman. She passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
