The funeral for Vonda Lee (Turner) Vincent, 85, was Monday April 1, at Dover Christian Church offi ciated by Grant Curtis and Jimmy Berkenbile.Burial followed at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

A funeral service for Gregory Fisher, 71, of Kingfi sher, will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 22, at the Kingfi sher First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery.Come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home (1612 S. Main St., Kingfisher) from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, April 21.

Joe Wayne Harper, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and music educator, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, following a battle with cancer. He was 83.He was born in Ada on January 18, 1941, to Clayton and Kathryn (Fuller) Harper.Joe Wayne’s passion for music began in grade school.

Elise Turner, 70, of Okarche, passed away March 27, 2024.Elise was born Nov. 10, 1953, to Mary Ann King (Parker) and Henry Duran Cordova in Fort Worth, Texas, and her feisty personality and determination were evident even in early childhood.

Bessie Alleen “Be” Fiegel, 92 year-old Oklahoma City resident, was laid to rest in a private family graveside service in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Loyal under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Ken Feagins, 63, went to be with his Lord after a long illness on March 11, 2024, in Oklahoma City.He was born Dec. 8, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas, to Joyce K. and Tom L. Feagins.They lived there until he was 5 years old, then moved to Kingfisher, “God’s Country” as Ken liked to say.

LaVerne Marie Meyer Waggoner went to Her Heavenly Home on March 20, 2024, at the age of 89.She was born at home on Jan. 27, 1935, in Okarche to Henry A. and Mary Bomhoff Meyer and was baptized on Feb. 17, 1935, and confirmed on April 10, 1949, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Okarche.

Kinlee Marie Denton, a vibrant soul cherished by all who knew her, passed away March 16, 2024, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 15.Born May 17, 2008, to her parents, Kevin and Lorie Denton, Kinlee’s light shined brightly from the moment she entered this world.
