Charles David Smith, 94, passed away peacefully Aug. 15, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Oklahoma City, the only child of Charles Everett and Mary Irene Foster Smith. Growing up, he raised chickens and pigs.

Shawn Michael Jacobs, 52, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Los Angeles, Calif., following a brief hospitalization for a head injury sustained from a fall.Shawn was born to Gordon and Sandra (Werner) Jacobs in Lawton and had lived most of his adult life in the Bakersfield, Calif., area.

Julianne Storm, 83, passed away July 29, 2023, at her home in Kingfisher.She was born June 12, 1940, in Kingfisher to Eldon Meade and Nancy (Weir) Glass.Julie was a lifelong resident of Kingfisher and a 1958 graduate of Kingfisher High School.
