Carmen Buswell Barrios went home to be with the Lord and loved ones Wednesday, March 8, 2023.She was at home surrounded by family and close friends.Carmen was born Aug. 29, 1954, in Okarche, to Richard “Ted” Buswell and Wynona Walter Buswell.

Patricia Irene Bodkin, 85, passed away on March 27, 2023.Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 3, at Cashion First Baptist Church with interment to follow at 3 p.m. at Arapaho Cemetery in Arapaho.

Eric John Hufnagel was born on Sept. 22, 1992, to Clayton and Christi (Schroeder) Hufnagel. He passed away March 23, 2023, at his home in Okarche as a result of a seizure.Eric spent most of his life battling Crohn’s Disease and the debilitating pain that often accompanied it.

Micky John Gould was born June 4, 1945, in Watonga to Harold Willis and Alice (Cade) Gould.He passed away March 12, 2023, at his home in Omega at the age of 77.Micky was preceded in death by his parents, brother Patrick Gould and sister Marsha Carlson.

Lyndal “Lyn” Ray Westmoreland passed away on March 20, 2023, in El Reno at the age of 64.Lyn was born to parents J.H. and Cherry Lavonne Murphy Westmoreland on Oct. 9, 1958, in Ardmore.Growing up in Marietta, he graduated from the Marietta High School in 1976.

Micky J. Gould, 77, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at his home in Omega.Micky was born June 4, 1945 in Watonga to Harold Willis and Alice (Cade) Gould.A more complete obituary will appear in a future edition.

The funeral for Jerry Eugene McKee, 86, was Tuesday, March 21, at Dover Christian Church officiated by Bret McKee.Arrangements were by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.Jerry was born in Ripley on Oct.

George Ray Heupel, a lifelong resident of Okarche, passed away Sunday morning, March 19, 2023, at his home. George was born Feb. 15, 1940, at the Heupel farm homestead in Okarche. He married Carol Bullard in 1961 and had four children: Cynthia, Shelly, Wesley and LaVon.

Jimmy Charles Redwine was born March 4, 1939, to Jim and Katherine Redwine in Kingfisher.He married Deloris West in Leavenworth, Kan., on July 27, 1957. They made their home in Kingfisher all of their life together.Born to their family was a daughter, Sherry Lynn, and a son, Jimmy Scott.
