Suzan Kaye Schoelen was born Dec. 31, 1946 in Kingfisher, the oldest of six children to Edward J. Schoelen and Edna (Soudek) Schoelen.She passed away Aug. 26, 2022, in Euless, Texas.Suzan was a 1964 graduate of Kingfisher High School.

Tim Foley, beloved husband and father, was born Feb. 16, 1947, and passed away Oct. 8, 2022. He was 75.Born to Louise and Merril Foley, Tim graduated from Watonga High School and married his high school sweetheart, Carol Lynn Bates, in 1965.

J. Ross Kirtley, loving husband, father and granddad, departed this life on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at the age of 67.He was born Nov. 21, 1954, to Wendell J. and Thelma Lee Kirtley, nee Hastey.He was born and raised in Kingfisher, graduating high school in 1973.

On Oct. 2, 2022, William “Billy” Joe James Clark left this earth and joined his Savior in his eternal home.Billy was born on March 20, 1982, in Woodward to Greg Clark and Staci Moore.In 1994, Billy moved to Kingfisher where he stayed until he graduated high school in 2001.

Gene Alan Marcum was born in Chelsea on Aug. 18, 1934, to Henry and Lulu Mae Marcum.He and his brother, Jim Marcum, were raised on the family dairy farm, instilling the handyman and honey-do mentality it took to keep things up and running efficiently.

Phyllis Ann Johnston Lerch, 89, of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away peacefully Sept. 29, 2022, after complications resulting from COVID.Her graveside funeral service was Monday, Oct. 3, at Norwich Cemetery, in rural Martelle, Iowa.

Doris Ruth Brehm, 84, passed away Sept. 23, 2022.Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ruth McAllister, husband Guy Brehm and granddaughter Donna White.

Gary Gene Wagner, 64, of Watonga, passed away on Sept. 26, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas.Gary was born Nov. 24, 1957, in Sentinel to John F. and Francis Leona Wagner.Gary is survived by Jeff Wagner (Paula) of Canadian, Texas; Lee Wagner (Brandi) of Camas, Wash.

Duane Yarbrough, the son of Willie E. and Zetha Lois Yarbrough, was born Oct. 4, 1951, in Kingfisher.He was the 11th of 14 children born to this union. Duane was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marie Lois Yarbrough and Ruby Bell Yarbrough; two sisters-inlaw, Lennie B.
