Richard O. “Dick” Bennett, 85, passed away on his birthday, July 25, 2022.He was born in Sterling on July 25, 1937, to the late Eual Bennett and Hazel Ross.Dick was united in marriage to Judy Ann Long on April 6, 1958. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1959.

Paul Amos Toepfer was born May 28, 1935, to Margretta Gertrude (Snethen) and Ernest Louis Toepfer in Kingfisher.He passed away July 24, 2022, at the age of 87.

Curtis Martin Stumpf went to walk alongside his savior Jesus Christ on July 25, 2022.Curtis was born to Merl and Martin Stumpf on May 18, 1936, in Kingfisher.Curtis graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1954 and married the love of his life, Molena Glazier of Loyal, in 1955.

Georgia Ann (Rund) Rother, 85, passed away Friday, July 22, in Ponca City, surrounded by family and friends.She was born April 1, 1937, in Okarche to John and Georgia (Barrackman) Rund.She grew up on Okarche and attended Holy Trinity Catholic School.

William “Bill” Joseph Jindra was born March 15, 1947, to Frankie and Emmaline Thomsen Jindra.He died July 11, 2022, at the age of 75.Bill attended Big 4 School, graduating in 1965.He married Linda Layton on July 8, 1966, in Kingfisher and they had two boys, Timmy and Barry Jindra.

Jeffrey Lynn Beutler was born May 31, 1959, in Guthrie to James Alan and Ina Grace (Eakins) Beutler.He passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Oklahoma City.Jeff graduated from Cashion High School in 1977.

Mary Elizabeth Meyer went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in Kingfisher.She was born to Andrew and Mildred (Perkins) Laub on Aug. 2, 1936, in Calumet, also known as “God’s Country.”Mary attended Mt. View Rural School and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1954.

Susie Joyce Burnett was born July 29, 1937, in Colbert to Horace and Ruth Johnson Hicks and passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 84.She was a resident of Norman since 1998.Joyce grew up in Dover and Kingfisher.She married Ernest Lee “Stubby” Burnett on March 4, 1953.

Elaine Mueller Holt, 92, of Kingfisher, Okla., and formerly of Beeville, Texas, died Thursday, July 14, 2022.Elaine was born in Taft, Texas, on Aug. 9, 1929, to the late Albert and Lois (Whitworth) Mueller.She attended Tynan school for 10 years and graduated from Mathis High School in 1946.
