The funeral for Carla Gene Best, 44, was Thursday, July 14, at First Baptist Church in Hennessey officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile.Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Lea Ann Flaming, 64, of Kingfisher, passed away July 7, 2022, after a hard fought battle with cancer.She was born July 12, 1957, in Duncan to JT and Teresa Fletcher.She married Eldon Flaming Nov. 6, 1976.They moved to Kingfisher in 1989, where their children still live.

Lonny Dean Tech was born in Okarche on Sept. 1, 1970, to Bill R. and Carol Jean (Schroder) Tech.He passed away on July 12, 2022, in Calumet, at the age of 51.Lonny grew up in the Calumet area and lived and worked there all his life. He worked as a mail carrier for the U.S.

After a long, courageous, faith-filled battle against cancer, Lanita Janell Curtis went to Heaven on Friday, July 8, 2022, in Oklahoma City with her loving husband by her side.Her passing came three weeks after the tragic loss of her daughter, Mandy.Janell was born in Waynoka on Feb.

Linda Marie (Eakins) Harman, 84, of Cashion, was born Nov. 25, 1937, in Cashion to Clarence David and Blanche (Lunnon) Eakins.She passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, in Cashion.Linda graduated from Cashion High School in 1956 and was a forever Cashion Wildcat.

Duane Yarbrough was born Oct. 4, 1951, to Zetha and Willie Yarbrough.He passed away July 7, 2022, at the age of 70.He was the 11th of 14 children.Duane was born and raised in Kingfisher. After graduating from Kingfisher High School, he moved to Detroit, Mich.

Geneva Pauline “Polly” (Horner) Hall passed away July 5, 2022. She was 76.Polly was born Oct. 7, 1945, in Chandler to Stella (Taber) and Vester Horner.Her parents were humble, hard-working Christians who preached the word of God in a non-denominational church in Kingfisher.

Having achieved her lifelong goal of being older than dirt, Helen Waller, 102, had a laundry list of equally-important achievements to accomplish, yet her heart valves disagreed on July 7.

John David Ludwig passed away surrounded by what must have been to the nurses, an overwhelming amount of family at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City on July 8, 2022.John was born Dec. 29, 1949, in Okarche to Marian and Donald Joseph Ludwig.

Robert “Larry” Lawrence Francis, 66, of Okarche, passed away July 6, 2022, in Oklahoma City.Larry was born Sept. 28, 1955, in Kingfisher to Robert M. and Gwen Lawrence Francis.He was a master of all things mechanical.He was also a beloved dad, Pop, brother, uncle and friend.
