On Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, Cleo Ferne Kopp – loving wife, mother and Mema – passed away at age 81.Cleo was born on Jan. 19, 1940, in Enid to Emanuel and Viva (Pfhrem) Leseberg (later Reimer).

Memorial service for Cherolyn “Chery” (Shaw) Cortez, 60, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at First Baptist Church of Hennessey officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Shirleen Kay (Wittkopp) Maass, 76, of Salina, Kan., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 20, 2021.Shirleen was born to Gilbert and Sarahnee Ailene (Bishop) Wittkopp on July 21, 1945, in El Reno.She was baptized April 2, 1947, at her grandparents’ home in El Reno by Rev. A. C. Dubberstein.

Joshua B. Stursa died Nov. 13, 2021, at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon.Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 19 at Holy Trinity Church with Deacon Max Schwarz and Rev. Christobal De Loera officiating.

Gary Lynn Russell, 63, of Kingfisher, passed away Nov. 14, 2021, in Kingfisher.Gary was born Dec. 14, 1957, in Kingfisher to Richard Russell and Pat Randall.Gary worked throughout his lifetime as a heavy equipment operator for various oil companies until his retirement in January 2019.

The world has become a little dimmer as Alan White left us way too early at the age of 60 on Nov. 18, 2021.Although he lived in Sherman, Texas, from 1984 to 2021, Alan was an Oklahoma boy at heart.

Our sister Ethel Alice Blindwoman was born June 2, 1956, to Thomas Jr. and Minnie Blindwoman.She passed away Nov. 10, 2021, at the age of 65.She graduated from Kingfisher High School and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Weatherford.

The funeral for Susan G. Holt, 62, was Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Dover Christian Church officiated by Rev. Mickey Moery.Burial followed at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.Susan was born in Visalia, Calif., on May 23, 1959, to Clyde Chriss and Mary Gay Harbison.

Hildegarde Kenneman Lundy Kale passed on to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at the Magnolia (formerly The Blake) in Oxford, Miss.She was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Orlando.

Terry Lee Wallace, 63, of Kingfisher, peacefully passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on Nov. 7, 2021, after a short battle with esophageal cancer.After an eventful childhood, Terry met Brenda (Hutchinson) Wallace in high school.
