Fern Marie Trent was born in 1926 in McLoud to Daney and Flora Newton and passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2021.She was fifth of 11 children and grew up working on the family farm with her other brothers and sisters.She graduated from McLoud High School.During World War II, she worked at Tinker Field.

Mary Marie (Wojtuck) Drennan passed away on Oct. 28, 2021, in Bartlesville at the age of 82.Mary was born to parents Loddie Wojtuck and Hazel Wojtuck on Aug. 20, 1939, in Bartlesville.Throughout Mary’s life, she was known for her strong work ethic, independence and confidence.

Walter L. Schroeder, Jr., known to all as “Papa Bud” or “Buddy Junior,” went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 29, 2021. Papa Bud passed peacefully at the age of 82 years young.He was born Sept. 3, 1939, to Walter L. Schroeder, Sr., and Ethel Mae (Boyd) on their family farm in Minco.

George David Garlett, 90, a longtime resident of Dover, passed away on Oct. 20, 2021, in Stillwater.George proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for several years during WWII.He also worked many years on the Rock Island Railroad as a welder and a welder supervisor.

Reba Lee Mumford, 89, of Wayne, passed from this earth on Oct. 25, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, in Paoli.Reba was born Aug. 18, 1932, in Hopping in McClain County to J.H. and Ovela (Clement) Mumford.She is survived by a brother, J.W.

Almeta Jean Mead Ashlock passed away Oct. 27, 2021, at the age of 74.Almeta was born July 12, 1947, in Laverne to Raymond and Mary (Sample) Mead.She grew up in Laverne and graduated from Laverne High School in 1965.She married Dean Ashlock on July 7, 1965, in Wheeler, Texas.
