Carol Lynn Evans was born on Oct. 31, 1946, to Ray and Frances Opdenhoff in El Reno.She passed away Dec. 14, 2021, surrounded by her loving family in Oklahoma City.Carol was raised on a farm and attended school at Omega.

John Merrill Blair, 75, passed from this life to the next on Dec. 13, 2021.He was born to Merrill and Wilma Blair on May 2, 1946, in Edmond.

Alice Lorrane “Midge” McAlvain’s lifelong dream came true on Dec. 12, 2021, when she left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Midge was born to Harvie and Alice West of Leavenworth, Kan., on March 18, 1947.She settled into her spot as the fourth of six children.

Francis William “Bill” McVicker, Jr., was born Nov. 13, 1940, in Hennessey to Francis William and Genevieve Ethel McVicker. He passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, in Oklahoma City.Bill grew up on a dairy farm west of Crescent and graduated from Crescent High School in 1959.

Dorothy Watts, 95, formerly of Kingfisher, passed away Dec. 5, 2021, in Seminole.She was born June 19, 1926, to Paul H. and Ada V. (McCray) Smith.She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Branch, Tina Watts and Debbie Hallum. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec.

Salomon Pardo, 72, Hennessey, passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2021.He was born on April 20, 1949, in Santa Brijida Coahulla, Mexico, to Ignacio and Maria De La Luze Duarte Pardo.Salomon married Sylvia Torres in Tucson, Ariz., on Feb. 10, 1979. Shortly thereafter they moved to Hennessey.

Clarence Edward “Eddie” Pryor, 95, passed away Dec, 1, 2021, at his home in Hennessey surrounded by family.Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 6, at 132 Bible Church. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.Eddie was born in Shamrock, Texas, on Aug.

Wanda Jean (Brawley) Haskins, 89, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, with family at her bedside, after a short illness.She was born June 6, 1932, in Oakwood to Rev. Harold Brawley and Rev. Berta.She graduated from Braman High School.Wanda married LeRoy Haskins Dec. 27, 1951.

Sheryl Joyce (Kirtley) Coy, 62, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2021.She was born Oct. 12, 1959, in Kingfisher to Wendell J. and Thelma Lee (Hastey) Kirtley.She grew up in Kingfisher and was a 1977 graduate of Kingfisher High School.
