Gary Dale Helt passed away at his home northwest of Kingfisher on Friday, July 9, 2021, at the age of 76. Gary was born to Dale M. Helt and Elvena (Thomsen) Helt on Sunday, Nov. 19, 1944. He was raised on a dairy farm northwest of Kingfisher. Gary graduated from Kingfisher High School in May 1962.

The funeral for Max Choate, 85, was Saturday, July 3, at Hennessey High School’s auditorium and was officiated by Rev. P. J. Stewart. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Max was born at Lacy on April 11, 1936, to Lyndell H.

Ray Vern McIntyre was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Tryon to Eugene Douglas McIntyre and Lula (Hall) McIntyre. He graduated from Tryon High School in the spring of 1940 and then began studies at Central State College in Edmond (now UCO).

Raymond Arthur Beck, 91, of Guthrie, passed away at home on Saturday July 10, 2021. Raymond was born Aug. 1, 1929, to Raymond George and Elizabeth (Frank) Beck on their farm in Cashion. Raymond and his identical twin brother, Richard, graduated from Cashion High School in 1947.

Lynnette Merritt, 80, of Kingfisher, was born April 17, 1941, to Charles Leonard and Mary (Cox) Merritt in Altus and died Thursday, July 1, 2021, in Kingfisher. Lynnette went to school in Altus. She moved to the Oklahoma Action Rehabilitation Center (OARC) in Woodward in 1993.

Graveside memorial service for Vernon R. Bernhardt, 92, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday July 10, at Kingfisher Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey. Vernon was born at Omega on Oct. 13, 1928, to Robert F. and Clara M.

Ceadric LeVerne Washington was born June 26, 1954, in Orange, N.J. On June 6, 2021, at the age of 66, he passed away in Kingfisher, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death in 2010 by his father, Walter Franklin Washington, and in 1998 by his first wife, Marilyn Barbour Washington.

Agnes Cecilia Wittrock, 77, was born Aug. 10, 1943, and died June 21, 2021. She was the fourth child of Paul and Kathrine (Alig) Wittrock. Agnes was a student at Holy Trinity School, Okarche and Villa Teresa School in Oklahoma City.

Leslie Earl “Les” Glazier, 73, Loyal, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.
