Flora Nell Ratcliff, 82, of Altus, sister of Gary Reid of Kingfisher, died Thursday, July 22, 2021. Funeral services are pending. A full obituary will appear in Wednesday’s edition.

John Berry Suthard (September 17, 1951-September 6, 2020) passed away from complications due to Parkinson’s disease on Sept. 6, 2020. John was born Sept. 17, 1951, in Wichita, Kan., and moved to Hennessey with his family when he was a young child.

After a lifetime of service to Jesus and others, Echo Rochelle Kopp went home to be with her Savior on July 9, 2021. Echo was born Feb. 3, 1965, to Connie Jo Espolt and Bobby Royce Sons. Echo graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1983.

Joan Marie Williams passed away at her home in Kingfisher on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the age of 67. She was born Nov. 29, 1953, in Paris, Ark., to John and Rose Marie (Phelps) McKeen. Joan married John Williams on May 24, 1991, in Yukon. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, El Reno.

David Burton Hawk, Sr., was born July 15, 1969, in Okarche and made his Heavenly journey on July 15, 2021.

Mark A. Gidney, 61, was born Jan. 13, 1960, in Edmond to Lloydene Fleming and Leonard R. Gidney. He passed away July 7, 2021. Mark graduated from Edmond High School. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kevin R. Gidney.

Wiley T. Hubbard passed away at his home in Okarche Monday, July 12, 2021, at the age of 80. Wiley was born to George and Vada (Hambrook) Hubbard on Sept. 2, 1940. He was raised on the family farm in Altona. Wiley graduated from Omega High School in 1958.

George Robert Cerny, 88, died Thursday, July 15, 2021, at his home in Kingfisher. A graveside service is 10 a.m. Monday, July 26, at Banner Cemetery with Pastor Fred Jones officiating. Services are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service. George was born southeast of Kingfisher on Jan.

Graveside memorial service for Vernon R. Bernhardt, 92, were Saturday July 10, at Kingfisher Cemetery. Cremation arrangements were by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey. Vernon was born at Omega on Oct. 13, 1928, to Robert F. and Clara M.

The funeral for Lewis A. “Jack” Ritz, 88, was Monday July 12, at Hennessey First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Griff Henderson. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Jack was born Aug.
