Daugherty honored on ‘Pink Out’
Kingfisher High School’s softball team honored one of its best fans Thursday ahead of its 10-0 win at home over Bishop McGuinness. Debbie Daugherty threw out the first pitch on “Pink Out” night prior to the game. The team gathered around Daugherty as a message written by her was read to the overflow crowd. Pink Out is an annual event where the KHS team helps raise awareness for breast cancer research and to honor survivors. After Daugherty tossed the first pitch, she was presented a signed softball and flowers before posing with team members on the field. She’s pictured on the left hugging KHS senior Adlee Friesen.
