Okarche exacted a bit of revenge on Thursday with a 6-1 victory over Leedey.

The game was part of the Dover Fast-Pitch Festival, but it was played on the Lady Warriors’ home turf.

Rains on Thursday morning in Dover pushed the first day of the three-day festival to Okarche.

Leedey, now ranked fourth in Class B, outlasted the Lady Warriors 2-1 on Saturday in the finals of the Cimarron Fall Classic.

This time around, Okarche plated five runs in the bottom of the second inning and weren’t truly threatened.

All five of those runs came with two outs.

Okarche’s first three runs were via wild pitches or a passed ball before Callie Cramer drove in a run with a single.

Okarche got yet another run on a Leedey error before the inning ended.

Leedey was able to load the bases with only one out in the top of the third, but Lawson Geheb limited the damage to just one run.

Katie Parham singled in the fourth and later scored on a wild pitch for the fiverun advantage.

The game ended after the top of the fifth due to the time limit.

Okarche won despite collecting just three hits, one each by Parham, Cramer and Charlie Petty.

Parham scored twice. Geheb surrendered five hits and struck out five in her five innings. She walked just two and the lone run was unearned.

Geheb hit a homer in Okarche’s 12-1 win over Frontier in its first festival game.

She was joined by Cramer in collecting two hits apiece.

Petty gave up one hit and struck out two over three innings to earn the win.

Dover lost 14-5 to Minco JV in the festival’s opener, but closed Thursday with an 8-2 victory against Covington- Douglas.
