Kingfisher’s softball team will honor Debbie Daugherty for its “Pink Out” game this week.

Players, coaches and fans wear pink during those games to help raise awareness and support for breast cancer research.

The Lady Jackets host Bishop McGuinness on Thursday in a District 4A-3 game.

The JV will play at 5 p.m. and the varsity at 6 p.m.

Prior to that varsity game, the team has invited Daugherty onto the field. A bio to honor Daugherty will be read and she will throw out the first pitch.

There will also be food trucks at the game, which is all a part of Kingfisher High School’s week of celebrating homecoming. (See Page 1 for more information.)
