Callie Cramer’s double- double and the team’s efficient night at the free throw line propelled Okarche to a 43-30 home win over Thomas last Friday.Cramer scored a gamehigh 19 points and added 10 rebounds as Class A’s fifth-ranked Lady Warriors improved to 12-3.

Hennessey dominates OBA in road wins

Hagen Copeland nearly outscored his team’s opponent last Friday as Hennessey won for the third straight time.Copeland poured in 37 points in the Eagles’ 80-44 victory at Oklahoma Bible Academy.Included in that career night was eight 3-pointers.

Crescent’s massive comeback against Cashion helped the Tigers avenge an earlier lopsided loss to its War on 74 rivals.Parker Mitchell’s jumper in the lane with time running out missed off the back iron as the Tigers held on for a 50-49 overtime victory at home.

Two Kingfisher High School grapplers had gold medals draped around their necks and one was named Outstanding Wrestler at last weekend’s Western Conference Wrestling Tournament.

There were blown leads, clutch free throws, big shots, overtime, defensive stops and the game winner with no time on the clock.And even a broken bone. The Kingfisher-Elgin girls basketball game seemingly had it all last Friday night.

Cashion holds off Seiling for win

Coming off back-to-back losses at the conference tournament, the Cashion girls weren’t given much time to regroup.That’s because perennial state title contender Seiling was coming to town on Tuesday.But regroup Cashion did as the Lady Wildcats held off their visitors for 54-48 victory.
