Dover holds annual Christmas parade

Dover residents had the opportunity last weekend to take in the annual Christmas parade. The event was held the morning of Saturday, Dec. 5, and was hosted by the Dover Community Club. Representing the club in organizing the parade were Lacey Winn, Lori Fischer and Leah Mueggenborg.

Lady Jackets win big in tournament opener

Mary Ellen Rednose Maul died Dec. 8, 2020, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. Graveside services were 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Kingfisher Cemetery. Mary was born Aug, 17, 1956, at Okarche. She lived in El Reno most of her life and taught at the Concho Head Start Program.

Wrestling has royal season opener

There were about four events wrapped into one during Kingfisher’s home wrestling dual last week. When KHS hosted Hinton Tuesday at the APB, it served as the 2020-21 season opener, home opener, Senior Night and homecoming all in one.
