The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:November 18, 5:35 p.m. - At 1015 S. Main St. Dina Barrera, 38, Watonga, driv-ing a 1999 Cheverolet, was in the drive-thru lane of KFC/Taco Bell.

HPD citations

The Hennessey Police Department recently issued the following citations: Reckless Driving and Failure to Stop at Stop Sign - Eduardo Cardenas, Hennessey. Reckless Driving and Expired Driver License - Tom D. Curry, Hennessey.

TPS cancels Tournament of Champions

Kingfisher’s chance to see how it stacks up against some of the other best basketball teams in the state won’t be happening. Tulsa Public Schools announced Tuesday morning it is canceling the 56th annual Tournament of Champions basketball tournament.

Jim D. Smith, D.D.S., passed peacefully into the arms of our loving Jesus on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at the age of 68. He was Jan. 1952, as the firstborn of Orval and Doris Smith of Kingfisher .

Eugene James Rednose, 73, El Reno, passed away suddenly at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City on Nov. 28, 2020. Eugene was born Aug. 21, 1947, in Concho to Albert Rednose and Louise Blindbull. Eugene graduated from Chilocco Indian School in He joined the U.S.

Mary Hawk

Mary Elizabeth Horn Hawk was born April 5, 1945, and departed on Dec. 2, 2020, at 75 years old. She was born in Concho to Jesse Horn and Mable “Medicinebird” Horn. She was the youngest of eight children. Mary attended Kingfisher schools and graduated from Chilocco Indian School.

Anna Mae Smith

Anna Mae Smith, 67, Kingfisher, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at her home. Services are pending.
