Ronald ‘Ron’ Annuschat

Ronald “Ron” Stephen Annuschat, 58, of Okarche, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Ron was the eighth child of Arthur Frank and Ruth Janet (Brueggen) Annuschat and was born on Oct. 5, 1962, in Okarche.

Donna Moeller Kretchmar, 77, died peacefully on Nov. 3, 2020, in Oklahoma City. She was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Okarche to William and Artie Mae Moeller. She was the youngest of six children. She graduated from Okarche High School in 1961, attended beauty school and became a beautician.

As far back as she can remember, Olivia Wilcox has wanted to play collegiate softball. She took the next big step in that direction on Wednesday. Wilcox signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career at Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City.

Dominant second half spurs Dover boys to win

Dover switched to a zone and Joriaun Caldwell was in a scoring zone as the Longhorns opened their season with a win. Caldwell scored 30 points Tuesday as Dover went on the road to defeat Cimarron 50-30. Tied at the half, the Longhorns surrendered just 10 second-half points.

Okarche brothers 2 latest deaths

Two Okarche brothers are the county’s latest victims of COVID-19. Ron Annuschat, 58, died Friday and Paul Annuschat, 68, died Saturday. Two other family members are hospitalized and fighting for their lives, family member Jackie Walta reported.
