HHS ends 14-game winless drought

It had been nearly two full years since the Hennessey football team had experienced victory on the field. That drought ended last Friday when the Eagles sent Crooked Oak back to Oklahoma City with a 33-7 defeat.

Tuesday was National Voter Registration Day and the Oklahoma State Election Board commemorated the date by encouraging citizens across the state to register to vote. The state election board reminds Oklahomans that the deadline to register for the Nov. 3 General Election is quickly approaching.

Deadline soon to register to vote

The last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the upcoming general election is fast approaching. Those wanting to cast a ballot in the Nov. 3 election must apply for registration by Friday, Oct. 9, said Kingfisher County Election Board Secretary Shawna Butts.
