Cotton and Colter Lopp announce the arrival of their new brother, Canon Dalton.
Canon was born at 1:23 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020, at Lakeside Women’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 20.5 inches.
Parents are Laramie and Jordan Lopp of Omega.
Although she never got to compete in her senior track and field season, Cashion’s Madelyn McCabe still hauled in a big-time honor. The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame last week announced its 2020 Jim Thorpe High School Player of the Year for various sports in the state.

Renee’ Jeen (Buhr) Burpo was born on March 21, 1962, in Walbridge, Ohio, to Bernard (Bernie) Buhr, Sr. and Betty Stapleton Buhr.
She passed away on July 7, 2020, with her family by her side at her home, after battling pancreatic cancer. She was 58.
Eileen Imogene Niles-Scott passed away June 26, 2020, at her home in El Reno at the age of 91.
She was born Feb. 15, 1929, in El Reno to Albert and Juanita Niles.
She had two brothers, Benny and Paul Niles, and two sisters, Gloris Niles-Sheets and Charolet Plunk.
Each have preceded her in death.
Wanda Claunch was born on a farm in Marshall on Sept. 7 1937, to Charles “Chod” and Vivian Larsen Kelly.
She passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Cimarron Nursing Center. She was 82.
Wanda was raised in Dover where she graduated high school.
District and state Oklahoma Department of Human Services personnel remain optimistic that the agency’s new Service First model developed as a response to COVID-19 and then expanded to help absorb state cutbacks will result in better service for its clients statewide.
