FBI made 3,931,607 firearms background checks in June

The FBI last month conducted 3,931,607 firearms background checks, the highest-ever number for the month of June. The number of background checks marked a 70 percent increase over June 2019. Industry analysts believe more guns will be sold in 2020 than ever in American history.

Kingfisher High School graduate Ashton Wensman Bensinger received first place recently in the photojournalism category at the National Photography Society of America Youth Photo Contest. Bensinger graduated from KHS in May. His photo – “Duty, Honor, Country” – was taken during a Washington, D.C.

2 hurt in county accident

Two juvenile passengers suffered injuries Sunday in a three-vehicle accident at the southeastern edge of Kingfisher County.According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, three vehicles were eastbound on Waterloo Road and approaching the stop sign at the County Line Road intersection.
