KPS adds to English, math departments

Changes of heart led Kingfisher Public Schools to regain a teacher, but see the departures of two others who were recently hired.Four new staff members were approved Monday night at the Kingfisher’s Board of Education’s regular June meeting while two resignations were accepted.

Carolyn Sue Musick, 76, was born Jan. 8, 1949, in Duke to Emma Evelyn Harper Dowdy and Albert Jack Dowdy.Sue went to be with our Lord on May 25, 2025, after a long stay at Mercy Hospital.Sue lost her mother at the age of 2. Her dad remarried (Louella) when she was 12.
