Bob Blackburn, executive director of the Oklahoma Historical Society, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last Tuesday.
Blackburn, who will retire at the end of the year, said Kingfisher was his fi rst stop of his “farewell tour” across the state.

Perdue is the daughter of Jim and Debra Perdue.

The last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the upcoming school board primary election is fast approaching.
Primary elections will be held Feb. 11 in the Kingfisher and Piedmont school districts, both of which involve voters who live in Kingfi sher County.
