Homer Scheihing

Homer Scheihing passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at the age of 93 in Kingfi sher. He was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Guthrie to David and Elsa (Severin) Scheihing. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ralph and sister Elsa Beck. Homer is survived by his nephew and two nieces.

Betty Wilkinson

Betty Lee Wilkinson, 86, passed peacefully from her earthly home to Heaven on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020. She loved her home where her daughter Linda wonderfully and passionately cared for her until her death. Betty was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Edmond, to Edgar and Mila Pryor.

Delmar Beadle

Graveside services for Delmar Millard Beadle, 97, were Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Hennessey Cemetery with Vernon Racer offi ciating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Delmar was born April 22, 1922, to Millard R. and Linnie M. Grimes Beadle near Hennessey.

Earlene Riddle

The funeral for Earlene Riddle, 81, was 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. P. J. Stewart. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Earlene was born in St. Louis, Okla., on Feb.

Raymond and Charlene Reiswig

MEMORIAL SERVICE A memorial service will be held for Raymond and Charlene Reiswig of Kingfisher at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Kingfi sher Elks Lodge, located at Elks Avenue and S.H. 33. A reception will follow the service. Charlene Rose Gender was born Oct.

County district report cards are a mixed bag

County school results were mixed on the 2018-19 report cards released last month by the State Department of Education, with some districts remaining the same or improving when compared to last year and others losing ground.

Annual banquet slated

The Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce annual banquet is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 10, at the Kingfi sher County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building, chamber manager Shauna Rupp announced. The evening begins with a 5:30 p.m. social hour, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
