Dr. Jim and Nancy Stock of Kingfi sher hosted a Christmas get-together for their three sons and families. The reunion pulled in family members from the West and East coasts, as well as Stillwater. “It was a little crowded at times but I wouldn’t have traded it for anything,” Dr. Stock said.

Basketball tournaments pick up steam this week

The busiest month of the basketball season is here and it kicks into high gear this week. This is the first of two big tournaments statewide this month and all seven area high schools are taking part.

Local retired educators to meet this week

Kingfisher County Retired Educators will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Kingfisher Memorial Library. State Senator Chuck Hall, District 20, will be the speaker. All retired teachers and support personnel are invited and encouraged to attend. Local dues are $10.
