Despite a couple of factors that may have deterred others, Randall Newton has always felt welcomed in Kingfi sher. Perhaps that’s why, after starting as the Kingfisher Farm Service Agency’s county executive director (CED) more than 32 years ago, he’s still here.

The Kingfisher Elks Lodge is planning a memorial service for members who passed away in the last year. The service is at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, in the lodge’s dining room. All spouses and all family of the departed members are invited. Refreshments will be served after the service.
