Luther avoids 3rd straight loss to Hennessey

Hennessey shocked Luther in the 2017 playoffs and the Lions were one of two Eagles victims last season. Class 2A’s ninth-ranked team made sure it wasn’t three in a row. Luther pulled away after a tight first quarter to hand Hennessey a 49-14 loss last Friday on the Eagles’ home field.

Regional Saturday for XC runners

The cross country season’s finish line is near. County teams this weekend will compete in their respective regional competitions. Runners from Cashion, Lomega, Hennessey and Kingfisher will all tackle the course at Chisholm for their regional meets in 2A, 3A and 4A.
