Kingfisher’s success on the baseball diamond has helped result in two players being named All-State selections for the first time in the program’s history.
The Oklahoma Coaches Association last week made official what Peyton Burns had already locked up on the course.
Burns’ name was on the list last week when the OCA announced the 2019 All-State golf teams.
Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for April 2019. Selected by the teachers were freshman Brenden Hill, sophomore Kase Simon, junior Hannah Wittrock and senior Noah Banther.
Hill is the son of Cary Hill and Karen Hottel.
Kingfisher High School seniors said goodbye to their secondary school experience at Saturday’s graduation ceremony. Cashion and Okarche seniors will be the last in the county to graduate, with ceremonies at both schools set Friday, at 7 p.m. for Cashion at the high school gym and 8 p.m.
