Rotary Club hosts quartet of KHS seniors

Kingfisher High School seniors Morgan Snowden, Silvia Garcia, Tiffany Crawford and Madeline Loosen were guests at a recent Kingfisher Rotary Club meeting. Snowden is the daughter of Mark and Karen Snowden. She’s active in FCCLA, Business Professionals of America and Mercy Student Careers Council.

2 blood drives upcoming in Kingfisher

Oklahoma Blood Institute is planning a pair of local blood drives in the coming days. The drives are scheduled at:  • Cimarron Electric Cooperative, Tuesday, May 14, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. • Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Sunday, May 19, 8 a.m. to noon.

County farm owners receive Centennial Farm Awards

Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer Lynda Ozan announced that Oklahoma Centennial Farm Awards have been presented to the owners of two Kingfisher County farms. Terry Sedlak of Kingfisher owns Sedlak Farms located in the vicinity of Hennessey.
