KHS to host 3A regional

Kingfisher High School has been selected as a host for a Class 3A boys west wrestling regional.The regional will be held Feb. 21-22.The Jackets will be part of the field, but the remaining teams have not yet been assigned.Those are expected to be released this Saturday.

The OSSAA has released basketball playoff assignments for Classes B, A and 2A.Their district tournaments begin next week as they start the quest for a spot in their respective state tournaments.

Man pleads guilty to child abuse

A Kingfisher man pleaded guilty to two counts of felony child abuse earlier this month.Tracy Wayne Gardner, 41, was sentenced to five years for each count with all of it except the first 90 days suspended. The sentences will run concurrently.
