Times & Free Press Managing Editor Michael Swisher, right, was the guest speaker Thursday at the Kingfisher Lions Club. Swisher has helped live stream more than 70 Kingfisher High School football games over the last six seasons and discussed with Lions Club members the prospects of the seventh season taking place amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Swisher read an email that had just been sent to the state’s superintendents, principals and athletic directors by the OSSAA minutes before the meeting began. The letter stated the association’s plans are to move forward with all fall sports seasons on schedule, but that it will also be prepared for interruptions of seasons and has a full slate of contingencies prepared, including moving seasons to other parts of the year as a last result. Swisher also discussed changes that have taken place in the live streaming operation over the last six years as well as planned changes for the 2020-21 seasons. He was introduced to the club by Tim Abercrombie, left, program chairman for the month of July. [KT&FP Staff Photo]
