The Eagle Event Center held its first official event last Tuesday, May 26, when the Hennessey High School Class of 2020 graduated in the new facility. The graduates each sat with their family members and guests during the ceremony. Each of the 59 graduates was allowed four guests. Seating was spread out to allow for social distancing and attendees were encouraged to wear masks. The 35,000 squarefoot facility will seat up to 1,800 for basketball games and has a number of amenities, including a 10-by-32-foot media panel (bottom left photo) that will serve as a scoreboard during games, but also offer other features.
