OHCE’s Queen Bees: Those who care caring for those who care

The newest OHCE Club in Kingfi sher - Queen Bees - provided the meal for the Kingfi sher Compassion Clinic last June. Members worked together to provide the evening menu. The meal consisted of eight different trays full of multiple varieties of submarine sandwiches with option of lettuce, tomato and gluten-free bread, Boulder kettle style potato chips, two veggie trays with ranch dipping sauce, orange cranberry cookie thins, and bottled waters. This community project was not paid for by club funds, but from the members’ own donations. “The Queen Bees love to love on this community,” Dr. Ashley Cowan Neal, the club’s president, said. “The people running the Compassion Clinic work hard the second Monday of the month to provide for our community and the Queen Bees wanted to show appreciation to them and thank them for their hard work, dedication and service by giving back to them. It’s each hive helping all the other hives in the Kingfi sher community.
