Okarche names Lion, Lioness

Okarche High School has announced its Lion and Lioness for January 2025. The faculty considers various qualities when choosing students for this honor, looking for students who serve others and improve their school and community. The January honorees were seniors Quinn Schneiter and Avery Schieber.

Traffic accidents

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: January 17, 3:25 p.m. At 1500 S. 13th St.Laurie Boarts, 40, Dover, driving a 2024 GMC Sierra, was parked in a parking space at Kingfisher Junior High School.
