Interbank in Kingfisher held its first Christmas Open House since Covid last Thursday, Dec. 12. Guests were treated to a number of refreshments as well as the opportunity to win several door prizes.

Tax bills could be mailed this week

Kingfisher County residents have been awaiting their tax bills for several weeks.The wait may soon be over.County Treasurer Robin Rother said she “anticipates” mailing out tax bills to residents Monday, Dec. 16.

Hennessey sets filing, election dates for board seats, town treasurer

Town of Hennessey to start charging card fee

Debit and credit card fees have cost the Town of Hennessey nearly $20,000 in 2024.“We’re losing 2.75 percent each time someone pays us (for anything) with a credit card,” Town Administrator Tiffany Tillman told the Hennessey Board of Trustees and Utilities Authority during its meeting last Tuesday.

Local students pick up degrees from UCO

The University of Central Oklahoma celebrated the achievements of approximately 937 graduates during the Fall 2024 commencement ceremonies Dec. 13-14 at Hamilton Field House.UCO President Todd G. Lamb gave remarks at each of the university’s five ceremonies.
