Annual pro-life event is set Oct. 6

A 37th annual pro-life event is slated early next month in Hennessey.Life Chain will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at the corner of U.S. Highway 81 and State Highway 51.The local event will coincide with similar ones taking place across the U.S. and Canada at the same time.

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:August 17, 11:54 a.m. At 1609 S. Main St. — Luis Castillo, 26, Oklahoma City, driving a 2005 Dodge S1T, was stopped in the parking lot of Jacket Express, 1609 S. Main St., waiting to merge onto U.S. 81.
