Kingfisher High School teacher Kurt Kaya discussed with the Lions Club last week one of the electives he’s teaching at the school. Kaya heads the school’s aviation classes, which are currently in their second year being available to KHS students.

Hennessey Police Detective Brad Logan was dispatched to 711 S. Main St. recently about a report that someone may have broken in the vacant building that previously housed Eagle Auto Supply.The call came about 5:15 Saturday, Aug. 26.
