Glazier, Ott awarded scholarships

The Tulsa State Fair Ringmasters have awarded $2,000 scholarships to Kelby Ott and Rylee Glazier of the Lomega FFA chapter.Ott and Glazier are said to have exhibited great character, work ethic and community involvement in earning the scholarships.

‘Critical’ work needed on Hennessey sanitary sewers

An evaluation of the Town of Hennessey’s wastewater collection system shows that $3.09 million in “critical (immediate)” work is necessary and another $3.326 million in shortterm (1-5 years) is also needed.

Accident claims Omega woman

A husband and three children have been joined by the entire Lomega community in mourning the sudden passing of a local woman.Karina Saldaña Castro, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene of an automobile accident Saturday afternoon.
