Darrell moved to Kingfisher in 1960 and graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1964. He started his own business, Daugherty Wrecker Service and Service Station in 1969.In 1973, Darrell and Debbie Jech were married. The couple will celebrate their 50th anniversary next year.

Chisholm Trail Technology Center Health Careers II students visited the Oklahoma Blood Institute in Enid on Nov. 3. OBI employees walked students through various skills, including venipuncture, which they recently learned as a part of their phlebotomy course at CTTC.

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:October 1, 8:48 p.m. At U.S. 81 and Sheridan Avenue.A 16-year-old driver, Okarche, driving a 2012 Ford, was eastbound on Sheridan Avenue and stopped at the intersection of U.S. 81.
