Early voting starts Thursday at the Kingfisher County Courthouse for the vacant Hennessey Town Board seat and primary elections for three county school board seats.Early voting is conducted outside the county election board office from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

CHRIS CARROLL is a 1998 Cashion grad and a 2002 OSU grad. He is a former Cashion ag education teacher and currently serves as chief operating officer at National Livestock Credit Corp. in Oklahoma City. He and wife Holly have two children, Maggie, a sixth grader, and Reed, a third grader.

Three people are vying for the District 1 seat on the Kingfisher County Fair Board.Candidates include Zachary Laubach, Jon Butler and Terry LaBlue.Voting is from 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the Kingfisher County Courthouse lobby.

Four Kingfisher Middle School students recently earned a spot on the Oklahoma Music Educators Association (OKMEA) Children’s All-State Honor Choir.Selected were seventh graders Kya Bolner and Julianna Austin and sixth graders Shilo Willingham and Gisselle Ponce.

Hennessey’s Board of Trustees have a long agenda Saturday, Feb. 5, for a planning meeting to discuss the future needs of the community.The meeting starts at 9 a.m. and will be held in the Seminar Room at the school auditorium.It’s being held there because it’s larger than the Town Hall board room.
