Oklahoma faces a shortage of nurses and engineers, but a state higher education leader says Oklahoma colleges are not necessarily enthusiastic about making changes that would reduce those reported shortages.Why? Because Oklahoma colleges don’t view those programs as moneymakers.

The top team for the first week of the Kingfisher County Walk-tober step challenge sponsored by Kingfisher Community Collaborative is Kingfisher Training, with an average of 162,605.08 steps per teammember over the first seven days.
