OSU releases fall honor rolls
A total of 9,619 students were named to the 2025 fall semester honor rolls at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, including 4,462 students named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an A grade in all their courses.

Golden Eagles discuss upcoming events at the Hennessey Senior Citizen Center
President Shirley Koons opened the Feb. 3 meeting of the Golden Eagles at the Hennessey Senior Citizen Center with discussions about upcoming Valentine’s Day projects.That included putting together goodie bags and Valentine’s cards for each Hennessey Care Center resident.

17 Hennessey cooks will compete Saturday in annual FOL event
Bragging rights are on the line for the 17 cooks (and still counting as of Monday) in the Hennessey Friends of the Library’s annual fundraiser cookoff event this Saturday from 5:30-7 p.m.
KPS suspends, reinstates FFA advisor
In back-to-back days, Kingfi sher Public Schools suspended and then reinstated one of its FFA advisors.Tyler Gradert, an agriculture education teacher and co-FFA advisor for the chapter, was suspended by the district on Monday, pending an investigation.
Okarche is academic bowl champ
STATE CHAMPS – Okarche Superintendent Josh Sumrall will tell you his students are the best and the brightest. They backed him up last weekend. Okarche emerged as the Class 2A academic bowl state champion Saturday after a day of competition at Rose State Community College.
Livestock, buckles & more in store
Thousands of hours of feeding and grooming prize livestock will go on display next week at the 96th annual Kingfisher County Spring Livestock Show.4-H and FFA members from Kingfisher, Cashion, Dover, Hennessey, Lomega and Okarche will be competing for top prizes at the three-day event.
